Whenever you are in a relationship you are going to have to be able to see eye to eye with your partner. You will find that every relationship takes work and that you are going to both have to work to be able to understand each other. A relationship consists of 2 different people living a life together; this does not always go smoothly so make sure that you both are able to do this in a way that is going to be able to lead to a long and happy life together.
Honesty
Honesty is something that you both are going to have to be able to give to the other so that you can try to figure the other one out. Whenever something bothers you or is a pet peeve of yours you will need to let your partner know. Never assume that they are going to be able to read your mind. Just because you think that they should know something about you doesn’t always mean that they will.
Communication
Communication is something that is so important in a healthy relationship. Whether you are communicating what you like in bed or what you expect out of your partner financially you are going to need to talk to each other. This is definitely something that can add years to your relationship.
Expectations
The expectations that you have of your partner really need to be realistic. Remember this first and foremost. Do not ever compare your partner to a fictional character on television, books or in movies.
